Alphanumeric Key Pad

The keypad allows quick access to most often used functions, input of DSC names and position and direct entry of channels.

Commercial ITU Class D VHF

The CPV550 meets the international requirements for Class D with a separate Channel 70 receiver, which allows DSC calls to be received even when listening to traffic on Marine VHF channels. The DSC DISTRESS function when activated transmits a digital MAYDAY including vessel identification, Latitude / Longitude and time (with GPS connected), to facilitate prompt response. Additional calls that can be made are Individual, Urgency and Safety.

80dB Rejection

Advanced receiver technology rejects the reception of unwanted signals from pagers and other unwanted VHF frequencies.

Audio Tone Control

This unique feature allows the treble and bass of the speaker audio to be adjusted for best listening. The effect is similar to adjusting the treble and bass controls on a stereo.

Oversized Knobs and Scanning

Radio operation and channel selection is made easy (even with gloves) with the oversized volume, squelch and channel selector knobs. The CPV550 has Dual Watch, which scans a selected channel and ch16 simultaneously allowing you to monitor a channel and not miss calls made on ch16. Programmable Scan and Priority Scan features are user programmable.

Plug and Play Front or Rear Panel Mic

The standard hand microphone has a built in speaker and uses Noise canceling technology called ClearVoice for unsurpassed communications even in the noisiest environments. This microphone also has the capability to directly switch between channels 16 and 9, change channels with the large UP/Down keys and can be removed for storage. The microphone may be remoted with the MEK-4 extension kit for custom installations. The MEK-4 contains 20Ft or routing cable, Stainless Steel panel mount and screws.

2 Remote Stations

All of the features of the main radio can be accessed through the optional RAM+ speaker microphone (CMP25) or VH-310 telephone style handset (2 connections) With a RAM+ or VH-310 connected, the CPV550 becomes an intercom system allowing two way private communications.

2 Video (NTSC or PAL) Input Connections

The CPV550 has 2 connection that allows a video signal from a optional camera or DVD to be connected and shown on the whole display, or a Picture in Picture window.

30w PA and Fog Signaling

The CPV550 includes a 30W Loud Hailer with Fog signals; Bells and Whistles with listen back. For added benefit, the last selected VHF channel is can be heard when in the PA or Fog mode.

The CP500 is capable being a fish finder and a Radar by connecting the FF520 sounder module and optional 2K and 4K Radar Antennas.

AIS Targets

Large vessels routinely transmit their navigation information. The CPV550 is capable of displaying these signals (when optional AIS receiver connected) as Targets on the chart page in relation to your position. In addition the CPV550 can be setup to alarm when a target ship is within a specific time or range zone, to alert you to avoid a collision.

Connect to the Garmin Marine Network

The 4208 connects easily to the high-speed Garmin Marine Network, so you can interface with additional MFDs and add remote sensors. Once connected, you can share information between the 4208 and other chartplotters on your boat. You can also add high-powered radar, sonar and XM satellite weather and radio to your system.

The CP180 is supplied with a swivel mount bracket that allows the Chart Plotter rotated 360 degrees (left or right) for optimal viewing. For custom installations the CP180 is supplied with all the hardware to flush mount the Chart plotter in and area you choose. To make installation even simpler Standard Horizon supplies a cut out template sticker to that allows you to find the ideal location and guides you where to make the cuts for that custom installation.

WAAS (Wide Area Augumentation System)

A 12-channel WAAS receiver is the heart of the CP180. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatable accuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position without the additional expense of a Differential receiver. The WAAS system currently covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and parts of northern South America. Additionally, the CP180 is EGNOS and MSAS ready which will extend superior receiver performance to the United Kingdom and European Continent.

VHF Digital Selective Calling and Position Polling

The CP180 GPS Chart Plotter has the capability to be connected to STANDARD HORIZON VHF Fixed mounted radios with DSC polling capability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the CP180 and the VHF. Connecting the products together allow you to securely and totally privately poll and display another vessels position on the display of the CP180. To take this one step further, the CP180 has a DSC Call directory that logs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel that has transmitted a DSC Distress call. STANDARD HORIZON pioneered this function, leading the industry with innovative features and function.

Dedicated Navigation Keys

Using a GPS Chart Plotter has never been so easy! The CP180 has dedicated MARK and ROUTE keys that allows the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route right on the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or to a Route, the GOTO key allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when the key is pressed.

The FF520 Dual Frequency (50 and 200kHz) Black Box Fish Finder's advanced filtering eliminates unwanted noise and sharpens return echos for enhanced seperation and detection. Transducer ID allows the FF520 to query the transducer (sold separately) to determine its perfromance characteristics. Power output, frequency, beam pattern and other unique transducer characteristics are sent to the fish finder. this data allows the fish finder to fine tune itself to match the transducer which optimizes overall system performance. Supplied with swivel bracket and includes flush mounting hardware

The CP180 is supplied with a swivel mount bracket that allows the Chart Plotter rotated 360 degrees (left or right) for optimal viewing. For custom installations the CP180 is supplied with all the hardware to flush mount the Chart plotter in and area you choose. To make installation even simpler Standard Horizon supplies a cut out template sticker to that allows you to find the ideal location and guides you where to make the cuts for that custom installation.

WAAS (Wide Area Augumentation System)

A 12-channel WAAS receiver is the heart of the CP180. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatable accuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position without the additional expense of a Differential receiver. The WAAS system currently covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and parts of northern South America. Additionally, the CP180 is EGNOS and MSAS ready which will extend superior receiver performance to the United Kingdom and European Continent.

VHF Digital Selective Calling and Position Polling

The CP180 GPS Chart Plotter has the capability to be connected to STANDARD HORIZON VHF Fixed mounted radios with DSC polling capability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the CP180 and the VHF. Connecting the products together allow you to securely and totally privately poll and display another vessels position on the display of the CP180. To take this one step further, the CP180 has a DSC Call directory that logs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel that has transmitted a DSC Distress call. STANDARD HORIZON pioneered this function, leading the industry with innovative features and function.

Dedicated Navigation Keys

Using a GPS Chart Plotter has never been so easy! The CP180 has dedicated MARK and ROUTE keys that allows the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route right on the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or to a Route, the GOTO key allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when the key is pressed.

The CP500 has 2 connection that allows a video signal from a optional camera or DVD to be connected and shown on the whole display, or a Picture in Picture window. The CP500 is capable being a fish finder and a Radar by connecting the FF520 sounder module and optional 2K and 4K Radar Antennas.

AIS Targets

Large vessels routinely transmit their navigation information. The CP500 is capable of displaying these signals (when optional AIS receiver connected) as Targets on the chart page in relation to your position. In addition the CP500 can be setup to alarm when a target ship is within a specific time or range zone, to alert you to avoid a collision.
