Designed as the perfect "Fast Binocular", the 7x30 Navigator Pro is ideal for all types of watercraft including sport fishing boats, smaller fresh water boats, coastal sailboats and powerboats that have need for a high performance binocular with a navigational compass for locating fishing hotspots, racing or general navigation.

The 7x30 Navigator Pro weighs only 20 ozs. and incorporates the exclusive Steiner Sports-Auto-Focus system. Once set for the user's eyes, the binocular keeps all objects in focus at distances from approximately 20 yards to infinity. Because of the greater depth of field in the Porro-prism, 7X30 Navigator Pro, the binocular allows boaters to scan an entire seascape without having to readjust the focus. It can also be faster in locating navigational marks, hazards, harbor entrances, boats and other man made objects when used in conjunction with the integral compass. The right side compass is illuminated electronically, allowing the user to get a bearing instantly in the dark.

The 7x30 Navigator Pro also makes a great back-up or second binocular next to a larger or more powerful glass.

Even under the most difficult lighting conditions, our special BaK-4 prisms and unique coating technology ensure high light transmission and therefore clear, high-contrast three-dimensional vision. Internally, the binoculars feature a stray light prevention system; a series of baffles that help add to the 95% plus peak brightness. At the same time the Commander V offers you a wide field of view for excellent vision in every situation. Night or day.

Durability
The ruggedness of STEINER binoculars has always been legendary. In order to combine sensitive technology and extreme environmental conditions, a high-quality Makrolon housing protects the inner workings of the Commander V. Guaranteed shock-resistant and absolutely mil spec waterproof (tested to a submersion depth of 5 meters). The rubber armoring offers a good grip, protects the binocular and prevents slipping on wet surfaces. The optional flotation strap will keep the Commander V safely afloat. The nitrogen pressure system completely eliminates inner fogging from - 40 C to + 80 C. And the intelligent prism suspension with a carriage made of special silicon will keep your vision completely alligned.

The most important innovation in the Commander XP are the XP Optics; a new high definition, broad band optical formula that features record setting light transmission for times in the dark and clear, sharp, high contrast and comfortable images in daylight.

In addition to the XP Optics, is a new high-tech optical coating on both the objective and eyepieces called "NANO Protection". This new coating repels water and moisture off the lenses leaving them clear of water or moisture. Like windshield wipers for your binoculars, you won't ever have to wipe them clean of moisture. The secret lies in a uniqe permanent molecular bonding substance that makes the lenses so smooth, that absolutely nothing adheres to them.
