Garmin International is pleased to introduce our new external marine antenna - the GA 30. The new GA 30 is a robust, easy-to-mount, passive GPS antenna packaged in a low-profile waterproof housing. In addition to conventional pole or surface mounting, the GA 30 can also be attached to the underside of many fiberglass decks, using the included under-deck mount.

This new marine antenna will be a direct replacement of the GA 29. The GA 30 will provide GPS information to the following compatible Garmin chartplotters and connects using a BNC connector: GPS 152, GPSMAP 400 series and 500 series.

This extra compact powerhouse is specifically designed for sailboats. It's electrically the same as the 5412-P, but it's fitted with a stainless steel ferrule and "N" connector. Includes a stainless steel right-angle bracket for mast mounting.

Collinear-phased, ½-wave elements and dual brass choking sleeves to suppress pattern distortion due to cable radiation. The antenna covers the digital, analog, and PCS cellular bands: 800-900 MHz and 1800-1900 MHz. For quality and reliability, its connections are hand-soldered, and its hand finished.
