Garmin International is pleased to introduce the GPSMAP 4212. The power of networking meets the brilliance of great design in the new 4000- series chartplotters from Garmin. These big, bright multifunction displays (MFDs) combine video-quality resolution and luminous colour with the latest in sensor and data options to serve as your all-in-one "nerve centers" for the Garmin Marine Network.

Both MFDs offer built-in cartography, worldwide satellite imagery, and a new simplified user interface. The GPSMAP 4208 is designed with an 8.4" diagonal VGA screen and does not have the alphanumeric keypad for data entry.

The 4208 MFD is preloaded with highly detailed BlueChart g2 marine cartography of the coastal United States including Alaska, Hawaii and the Bahamas. This data provides detailed coastlines, shaded depth contours, navaids, port plans, wrecks, restricted areas and tide and current information.

Plug in optional BlueChart g2 Vision cards to add true 3D-view detailed mapping capabilities (both above and below the waterline), plus helpful auto guidance, high-resolution photomapping detail, and "real picture" aerial photos of ports, harbors, marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other points of interest.

Furuno RD-30 Remote Display Navigational Data Orginizer

If you are looking for a unit to show you precise depth down to 2 ft and temperature to 0.02 of a degree, then the RD30 is the answer. Simply connect the RD30 to our new Furuno Smart Sensor and you are ready to go! The new Furuno Smart Sensor is an ingeniously engineered depth sensor, entirely encased within its own transducer housing. The Smart Sensor connects directly to the RD30 display, via the NMEA data port, without requiring any additional processor or junction box. Power is supplied to the Smart Sensor from the connected display. The Smart Sensor operates at 235kHz. This frequency was chosen for its excellent ability to provide solid performance at both high speeds and in very shallow depths. Additionally, the 235kHz frequency will not interfere with other Furuno echo sounding equipment, including any products running at 200kHz.

These versatile products can also be added to any NavNet system, providing numerous NMEA data display modes, including: Depth, Temperature, Wind Data, Speed, Bearing, Course, Position, etc.

Satellite Photo Fusion.
Satellite photography can be fused with raster or vector chart information. Land areas (zero depth) are completely opaque, so that these areas are displayed as satellite photos on the chart. As the depth increases, the satellite photography becomes more transparent so that you will know where the shallows end and the deeper water starts.

High resolution satellite photography aids in seabed classification so that you will be able to easily identify areas of sand, rock, coral or other obstructions.

The Rotokey is designed as a part of NavNet 3Ds scaleable operating system; a short press of the Rotokey gives you access to a user-selected set of the basic functions that you will use the most, while a longer press of the key displays all of the functions available. Never leave your navigation screen to enter a menu again!

NavNet 3D provides the easiest user interface on the market with a combination of both Rotokey and familiar point-and-click cursor pad controls. Garmin International is pleased to introduce the GPSMAP 4212. The power of networking meets the brilliance of great design in the new 4000- series chartplotters from Garmin. These big, bright multifunction displays (MFDs) combine video-quality resolution and luminous colour with the latest in sensor and data options to serve as your all-in-one "nerve centers" for the Garmin Marine Network.

Both MFDs offer built-in cartography, worldwide satellite imagery, and a new simplified user interface. The GPSMAP 4212 features a 12.1" XGA "big screen" display and alphanumeric keypad.

4212 MFD is preloaded with highly-detailed BlueChart g2 marine cartography of the coastal United States including Alaska, Hawaii and the Bahamas. This data provides detailed coastlines, shaded depth contours, navaids, port plans, wrecks, restricted areas and tide and current information.

Plug in optional BlueChart g2 Vision cards to add true 3D-view detailed mapping capabilities (both above and below the waterline), plus helpful auto guidance, high-resolution photomapping detail, and "real picture" aerial photos of ports, harbors, marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other points of interest.
